Terms & Conditions
The terms on which we provide diagnostic, imaging and dental services, and on which you may use this website. Please read them before booking a test or treatment.
1. About these terms
This website is operated by Check life Health care Services Pvt. Ltd, which runs Check Life Diagnostics at its Khilwat and Tolichowki centres in Hyderabad, Telangana (referred to below as “Check Life Diagnostics”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website and the diagnostic, imaging and dental services we provide. By browsing this website, contacting us through it, or availing any service at our centres, you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website or our services.
These terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal and health information.
2. The services we provide
Check Life Diagnostics offers pathology and laboratory investigations, ultrasound and X-ray imaging, cardiac tests including ECG and 2D Echo, OPG dental imaging, and dental treatment through our in-house dental hospital.
The availability of a particular test, scan or treatment can vary between our two centres and from day to day, depending on equipment, staffing and the availability of the reporting doctor. Information on this website describes our services in general terms and is not a guarantee that a specific test will be available at a specific centre at a specific time. Please call the centre you plan to visit and confirm before travelling.
We may add, modify or discontinue any service without prior notice.
3. Our reports are not medical advice
Please read this section carefully
Laboratory results, scan images and diagnostic reports issued by us are clinical information intended to be interpreted by a qualified medical practitioner in the context of your symptoms, history and examination. They are not, by themselves, a diagnosis, a prescription, or advice on treatment.
Nothing on this website — including service descriptions, general information about tests, and answers to common questions — constitutes medical advice or creates a doctor–patient relationship.
You should not start, stop, delay or change any medication or treatment on the basis of a report alone, or on the basis of anything read on this website. Always consult your treating doctor.
Check Life Diagnostics is a diagnostic and dental care provider and does not operate an emergency department. In a medical emergency, call 108 or go to the nearest hospital immediately.
4. Visits, appointments and cancellations
Walk-in patients are accepted at both centres during working hours. Where an appointment is booked by phone or through an enquiry sent via this website, it is confirmed only once our staff confirm it to you directly — sending an enquiry does not by itself reserve a slot.
We make every reasonable effort to keep to scheduled timings, but waiting times can be affected by patient volume, emergencies, equipment servicing and the availability of doctors and technicians. We are not liable for losses arising from delays or from rescheduling.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please inform the centre as early as you reasonably can.
5. Your responsibilities as a patient
The accuracy of a diagnostic result depends in part on what you tell us and on how you prepare for the test. By availing our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete personal details, including name, age, gender, contact number and address, and to inform us of any change.
- Disclose relevant medical information — current medications, existing conditions, allergies, and whether you are or may be pregnant — before a test or scan is performed.
- Follow the preparation instructions given to you, such as fasting requirements, before the test.
- Produce valid identification and, where applicable, a doctor’s prescription or referral when asked.
- Comply with instructions given by our staff at the centre.
We are not responsible for inaccurate, delayed or repeated tests, or for any consequence arising from them, where the cause is incorrect information supplied by you or a failure to follow preparation instructions.
6. Reports, turnaround and re-tests
Turnaround times quoted for reports are estimates in good faith, not guarantees. Specialised investigations, tests requiring an external reference laboratory, and reports awaiting a doctor’s review may take longer.
Reports are released to the patient, or to a person authorised by the patient, on presentation of the receipt or acknowledgement issued at the time of collection. For a minor, a report is released to a parent or legal guardian.
Diagnostic testing has inherent biological and technical limitations, and no test is infallible. If a result appears clinically inconsistent, we may request a repeat sample. Where a repeat is required due to an issue attributable to us — such as sample handling — we will re-test at no additional charge.
Please retain your reports. We will make reasonable efforts to provide duplicate copies of past reports on request, subject to our record retention practices and verification of identity.
7. Fees and payment
Charges depend on the test, panel, scan or dental procedure advised. The applicable charge will be told to you before the service is provided, and payment is due at the time of service unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
Prices shown or quoted are subject to change without notice. Any applicable taxes are payable in addition, unless stated otherwise.
Once a sample has been collected, a scan has been performed or a procedure has begun, the charge for that service is generally non-refundable. Where a service has been paid for but not delivered, we will process a refund or an adjustment against a future service on request.
Where a test is billed to an employer, insurer or a third party under an arrangement, that arrangement governs the payment; you remain responsible for any amount that the third party does not settle.
8. Regulatory compliance
We operate in accordance with applicable Indian laws governing diagnostic centres, clinical establishments and dental practice.
Pre-natal sex determination is prohibited
In compliance with the Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of Sex Selection) Act, 1994, the sex of a foetus is never determined or disclosed at our centres, in any form, to any person, under any circumstance. Requesting such information is a punishable offence.
We may decline to perform any test or procedure that, in our professional judgement, is clinically inappropriate, unsafe, or not permitted by law.
9. Dental treatment
Dental treatment at our in-house dental hospital is provided after clinical examination, and where required, imaging. Any treatment plan and its cost are explained to you before treatment begins, and treatment proceeds only with your informed consent.
Dental outcomes depend on individual clinical factors, on adherence to post-treatment instructions, and on ongoing oral hygiene. No specific clinical outcome is guaranteed. Any warranty on a dental restoration or appliance is limited to what is expressly stated to you in writing at the time of treatment.

14. Privacy
Your personal and health information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Please read it to understand what we collect, why we collect it, who it may be shared with, and the rights available to you.
15. Changes to these terms

The revised version takes effect from the date it is published on this page, shown as the “last updated” date above. Your continued use of the website or our services after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
